Course Requirements
The examining board is the WJEC and you can find more details such as course specifications at the following website : http://www.wjec.co.uk/
The course requires students to produce a body of coursework (portfolio). This will make up 60% of students overall g.c.s.e grade. Students will also sit a controlled test (exam) and this will make up the remainding 40% of the g.c.s.e grade.
Students need to ensure they are reaching their full potential in all four of the assessment objectives. Students are issued with a breakdown of these objectives at the start of the course. You can find a breakdown of these objectives with a checklist by clicking on the link below:-
